Little Prince Leo — A Story Born from Love

Not everything we build is an app. Little Prince Leo is an animated character inspired by my son — a project born from love, fatherhood, and the magic of storytelling.

Not everything we build is an app. Little Prince Leo is an animated character inspired by my son — a project born from love, fatherhood, and the magic of storytelling.

The moment it started

My son was about two years old when he first pointed at the TV and said “more.” He wanted more stories. More characters. More of the little animated worlds that made his eyes go wide.

I watched what he watched — the bright colours, the simple narratives, the gentle voices. And I thought: what if I could make something like this for him? Not a billion-dollar production. Just something small, personal, and full of the love I feel every time I look at him.

That’s how Little Prince Leo was born.

Who is Leo?

Leo is a little prince — curious, kind, and always on an adventure. He’s inspired by my son, obviously, but he’s also inspired by every kid who looks at the world with wonder. The kind of wonder that makes a puddle an ocean and a cardboard box a spaceship.

The stories are simple because kids don’t need complicated. They need warmth. They need characters who are brave and kind. They need stories that end with a hug or a laugh or a little lesson about being good to each other.

Why this matters to me

The Everest Lab is mostly about apps and software. But Leo is different. Leo is the project that reminds me why I build things in the first place.

I build because I love creating. I build because I want to make something that matters to the people I care about. And the person I care about most is a little boy who calls me “Ba” and thinks I’m the funniest person in the world (his standards will go up eventually).

Leo isn’t a business strategy. There’s no monetisation plan, no growth metrics, no KPIs. It’s a father making stories for his son. That’s it. And somehow, that feels more important than anything else I’ve built.

The creative side of The Everest Lab

People sometimes ask why a tech studio makes animated content. The answer is simple: we’re not just a tech studio. We’re a creative studio that happens to use technology as one of our tools.

Software solves problems. Stories create joy. Both matter. And at The Everest Lab, we want to do both.

Follow Leo’s adventures

Little Prince Leo lives on social media — short videos, stories, and animations that we create with love (and a lot of late nights after bedtime).

If you have little ones, I hope Leo brings them a smile. And if you’re a parent building things late at night after the kids fall asleep — I see you. Keep building. Keep creating. The things we make with love are the ones that matter most.
